Terms of Service

Effective October 30, 2026

Use Digibae for fun, only with photos you have the right to use, and never to hurt or deceive anyone. Your subscription is billed through Apple, and you can cancel it any time.

These terms are an agreement between you and Digibae ("Digibae", "we", "us") for your use of the Digibae app and this website (together, "Digibae"). By using Digibae you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Who can use Digibae

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms for you.

2. What Digibae does

Digibae restyles photos you choose in looks inspired by cameras and film. AI renders are made by a third-party image model (see the Privacy Policy). The on-device editor works without sending your photos anywhere. We may add, change or remove looks and features over time.

Camera and film names such as Canon, G7X and Kodak Gold describe a style only. Digibae isn't affiliated with or endorsed by those brands' owners.

3. Your photos and renders

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You give us a limited permission to process each photo only to create and deliver the render you asked for and to check it for unsafe content, as the Privacy Policy describes. That permission ends when the photo and render are deleted.

As between you and us, you may use your renders however you like, including posting them, as long as you follow these terms and the law. AI models can create similar results for different people, so others may get renders that look like yours.

You promise that you have the right to use every photo you upload, and that anyone else in it has agreed to you using it this way. If someone in the photo is under 18, you must be that person or have their parent's or guardian's permission.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Digibae to:

  • Upload or try to create nudity, sexual content or gore, or any sexual or suggestive content involving a minor.
  • Restyle photos of people who haven't agreed to it, or harass, bully, threaten or humiliate anyone.
  • Pretend to be someone else, or pass off a render as a real, unedited photo in order to mislead people, for example in a scam, as fake evidence or in political content.
  • Create anything illegal, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights, such as their copyright or privacy.
  • Get around our limits, safety checks or the free-render date stamp, use bots or scripts, or access our servers other than through the app.
  • Copy, reverse engineer, resell or interfere with Digibae, except where the law allows it.

Our safety checks block some photos and renders automatically. Blocked or refused renders don't use a credit. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules, and report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.

5. AI renders

Renders are generated by AI. They may change how you look, contain mistakes, or not match the look exactly, and the same photo can give different results. Renders aren't professional photographs or accurate depictions of anyone.

6. Free renders, subscriptions and credit packs

  • Free renders. Each device gets a small number of free AI renders, marked with a small date stamp. Reinstalling the app doesn't reset them.
  • Subscriptions (weekly or monthly) include a set number of renders for each billing period. Unused subscription renders don't carry over to the next period. There's no daily limit.
  • Credit packs are one-time purchases of renders that don't expire. Subscription renders are always used before pack credits.
  • Billing. Apple charges your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions; your plan stays active until the period ends. We'll give you notice before any price change, and Apple will ask you to agree where the law requires it.
  • Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple atreportaproblem.apple.com. If a render fails, the credit is returned automatically.
  • Restoring. Subscriptions can be restored with Restore Purchases. Credits are linked to the copy of Digibae on your device, and the App Store can't restore credit packs. If you lose credits when you switch phones, contact us.
  • Renders and credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or sold.

7. Our app

We own Digibae, including its design, looks, name and logo. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes under these terms. We may update the app, and some features may need the latest version.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Digibae any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription. We may suspend or stop providing Digibae, or your access to it, if you break these terms or if we need to for legal or safety reasons. If we shut Digibae down entirely, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.

9. Disclaimers

Digibae is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular result. Some places don't allow these disclaimers, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Digibae is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the laws of where you live.

11. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of photos you uploaded or how you used Digibae in breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

12. Apple

If you got Digibae from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Digibae or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If Digibae fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple isn't responsible for any claims about Digibae, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims; we are, to the extent these terms say so. You confirm that you aren't in a country subject to a US embargo and aren't on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you in the app if a change matters. If you keep using Digibae after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.

14. General

If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to. You can't transfer these terms to someone else; we may transfer them if the business changes hands. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Digibae.
